Jake Austin Walker

HI,
I am Jake Austin Walker and I love being a actor and singer. I also enjoy stand up comedy and do a lot of writing. Some recent projects that I have had the pleasure of working on are "Bones" as "Matty",(FOX) the feature film "Burning Palm" as Trevor Pinter. This movie was a blast to work on and I had the pleasure of working with Christopher Landon (Disturbia) and we had a ensemble cast including Zoe Saldana and Lake Bell. Most recently I shot a movie called "Knucklehead" in the role of "Dennis" for WWE Studios Films and just wrapped another WWE Studios Feature called "The Chaperone." This was really a blast and my character got to do some action packed scenes. This movie stars the wrestler "Triple H" and he is one of the nicest and most humble guys I have gotten to work with. My character is "Ted" and he is a very interesting guy! It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed working back home in Louisiana for a month this summer.

When I'm not working as a actor, I work on songwriting and recording. I'm also taking guitar lessons. I like to write comedic screenplays and I hope to one day go to film school. I live full time in Los Angeles and I welcome any questions from upcoming actors who may want to know how to get into the biz!

I continue to auditon as most all child/teen actors have to do. It's just a part of being a actor. I have some cool auditions coming up! Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog.

If I can remember correctly I think my first job was on a comedy sketch pilot for NBC, then I worked as a guest star on the FOX tv series "Bones" and that episode was the highest ranked episode for Bones. It was their Halloween episode called "Mummy in the Maze" and I played "Matty." A kid who was trick or treating in a hay maze and found a dead body. It was very cool and I even have people who ask me about it still. It reruns a lot. It was fun being a part of that show. They are the nicest people to work with!I was 9 by the way when I booked my first professional job. Before that I had leads in a few student films which is a great way to get started in the biz.
